நண்பர்களே !
கவியரசர் பாடல்களை வேறு எந்த மொழிகளிலும் மொழிபெயர்ப்பது கடினம். கவிஞரிடம் இது ஏன் என்று கேட்டதற்கு " அது தான் தமிழின் சிறப்பு " என்பார்.

இப்போது ஒரு நண்பர் " ஆறு மனமே ஆறு" பாடலை மொழிபெயர்த்து இருக்கிறார்.
உங்களது பார்வைக்கும் விமர்சனத்திற்கும்.

நல்ல மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளர்கள் கிடைத்தால், கவிஞரின் வரிகளை பல மொழிகளில் கொண்டு செல்ல முடியும்.

ஆறுமனமே ஆறு
அந்த ஆண்டவன் கட்டளை ஆறு
சேர்ந்து மனிதன் வாழும் வகைக்கு
தெய்வத்தின் கட்டளை ஆறு
தெய்வத்தின் கட்டனை ஆறு!

ஒன்றே சொல்வார் ஒன்றே செய்வார்
உள்ளத்தில் உள்ளது அமைதி
இன்பத்தில் துன்பம் துன்பத்தில் இன்பம்
இறைவன் வகுத்த நியதி
சொல்லுக்கு செய்கை பொன்னாகும்
வரும் துன்பத்தில் இன்பம் பட்டாகும்
இந்த இரண்டு கட்டளை அறிந்த மனதில்
எல்லா நன்மையும் உண்டாகும்

உண்மையைச் சொல்லி நன்மையைச் செய்தால்
உலகம் உன்னிடம் மயங்கும் -
நிலை உயரும் போது பணிவு கொண்டால்
உயிர்கள் உன்னை வணங்கும்
உண்மை என்பது அன்பாகும் - பெரும்
பணிவு என்பது பண்பாகும் - இந்த
நான்கு கட்டளை அறிந்த மனதில்
எல்லா நன்மையும் உண்டாகும்

ஆசை கோபம் களவு கொள்பவன்
பேசத் தெரிந்த மிருகம்
அன்பு நன்றி கருணை கொண்டவன்
மனித வடிவில் தெய்வம்
இதில் மிருகம் என்பது கள்ளமனம்
உயர் தெய்வம் என்பது பிள்ளை மனம்
இந்த ஆறு கட்டளை அறிந்த மனது
ஆண்டவன் வாழும் வெள்ளை மனம்.

Be calm…Oh!..heart… be calm
God’s commandments are six
For a refined man’s life proper
God’s commandments are six!

Those who do what they say
Will have peace in heart
Joy in sorrow and sorrow in joy
Is the order God ordained
Seen in action is golden
And joy through sorrow is silken
The mind that knows these two
Reaps all benefits!

Tell the truth and do the good
The world comes to you charmed
Be humble as your status goes up
And all creatures come worshipping you
Truth is love
And humility is character
And the mind that knows these four
Reaps all benefits!

A man covetous, wrathful and thievish
Is a beast talking…
One loving graceful and compassionate
Is a God in human form…
Here the beast is thievish heart
And divine is the child’s heart
And the mind that knows these six
Is the unspoiled one and God inhibiting.
